Excursion - Ieranto

The bay of Ieranto is included in the “B” area of the marine park,  Punta della Campanella. It is reachable by foot, along a path which leads from the fishing village of Nerano, or by authorised boat.

How to get to the bay the Bay of Ieranto

The trail takes about 1 hour to walk down. It is a relatively easy path, even though some parts are a bit tricky, due to the bad condition of the steps. The walk up is quite challenging and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. It’s advisable to avoid hiking during the hottest period of the day and maximum exposiure to the sun. Buy water and refreshments before going to Ieranto as there is nowhere in the Bay to purchase such.  If you prefer, the Lubra staff can arange a boat transfer to collect you so that you need not concern yourselves with the walk back up after a day at the beach!
